270 apartments have been completed on this 1.1-acre parcel on the Baltimore waterfront. Required approvals included site plan approval by the Planning Department, architectural approval by the Design Advisory Panel, and rezoning approval by the Baltimore City Council. WDG is the architect and S.E. Foster is the general contractor of this 12-story building, which provides 28,500 square feet of ground level retail, three levels of parking, and eight floors of apartment units -- many with water views. Construction began in mid-2005; the topping out ceremony was held May 26, 2006, first certificates of occupancy were issued in May, 2007, and the first tenants took residence in June 2007. In 2008 the project won a coveted Delta Associates Award for Excellence for Best Lease-Up Pace for a Baltimore Area Apartment Community recognizing the hard work of Legend Management. Retail tenants include RA Sushi, Teavolve and Wachovia Bank.
